“I guess we’re all two people. One daylight, and the one we keep in shadow” Bruce Wayne

Reading an interesting book…”The Seven Spiritual Laws of Superheroes: Harnessing our Power to Change the World” – Deepak Chopra – decoding the laws that govern the realm of superheroes, our fascination with, their relevance, and perhaps most important – how to apply them to our daily lives.
An interesting and entertaining perspective!

A Summer Rain

Last Night the Rain Spoke to Me
By Mary Oliver

Last night
the rain
spoke to me
slowly, saying,

what joy
to come falling
out of the brisk cloud,
to be happy again

in a new way
on the earth!
That’s what it said
as it dropped,

smelling of iron,
and vanished
like a dream of the ocean
into the branches

and the grass below.
Then it was over.
The sky cleared.
I was standing

under a tree.
The tree was a tree
with happy leaves,
and I was myself,

and there were stars in the sky
that were also themselves
at the moment
at which moment

my right hand
was holding my left hand
which was holding the tree
which was filled with stars

and the soft rain—
imagine! imagine!
the long and wondrous journeys
still to be ours.

A little insight

“People think focus means saying yes to the thing you’ve got to focus on. But that’s not what it means at all. It means saying no to the hundred other good ideas that there are. You have to pick carefully.”  – – Steve Jobs

Having lots of choices isn’t necessarily a good thing.

Sometimes it can bog us down and keep us stuck.

When I get stuck I like to read quotes…looking for any glimmer of insight.

This one hit the nail on the head.

Stay tuned.
