So here is another cool find (from the estate sale on Saturday).

Any ideas?

I’m guessing it has something to do with hair (as it was found in the ‘beauty shop’ that the owner had above the garage).

The box is wooden and the lid slides.  Its full of various sized ‘cores’?  I’m not exactly sure whether they’re made of wood or a hard vinyl or plastic.

I can’t find any information on-line but imagine they were used as inserts for a curling process – perming, maybe?  

Of course my immediate reaction was…‘cool wall art!”
